Wheeling is all about having fun, but we need to remember that without a little common sense, our 4x4's will go no where.  Trails are closures are not isolated to the big trails in other states, they are dissapearing right under our noses.  And once we loose access to most trails, it is gone for ever.

Please remember to respect land owner rights, stay on the designated trails and make sure you are allowed to be on the road before you travel them and remember to TREAD LIGHTLY above all else.

My intention with this site is to provide accurate and reliable information about the legal places to wheel in the North country.  In Vermont this is primarily on the unmaintained CLASS 4 town roads.

Unfortunatly, when I started this site many moons ago, I did not know about the subtle differences between types of trails, and the legal restrictions that might be in place on one trail versus another, so I have removed all previous trail content and I am starting to work on verifying my data before I post it back online. Until I am able to make those changes, please check all trails by reviewing the AOT town maps that are available online here (http://www.aot.state.vt.us/Planning/MapGIS/Town_Maps1.htm)
