Fish Hill Rd to Sanders Rd Trail
(Town Highway 17)
Randolph, Vermont to Bethel, VT
Town Highway 17 is a simple trail that cuts between Fish Hill Road in Randolph, Vermont and Sanders Road in Bethel, Vermont. Being close to the top of the mountain ridge at this point
You need to use caution on the North (Randolph) end of the trail. The road runs through very damp area that is used a lot by farm equipment and so it has some very large ruts. As you can see in the photo, I sunk up to my axle after my auto locking hub broke and I lost my four wheel drive.
Directions
From Randolph: Take Route 66 out of town. About 1 mile out of town take a right onto Fish Hill Road. Follow it 4 miles to the end. There will be a farm on the right and then a house on the left. Do not follow Dubois Road around to the left, but go strait beside the tree line. This is the trail head.
From Bethel: Go North on Main Street beyond the Church Street bridge where VT Route 12 splits off. Follow North Main Street 1 mile and take Sanders Road on the right. Go 1.7 miles up Sanders Road to the Y. Wilson Road is to the right and the trail head is to the left.
