Hit the road with two of my brothers (Darro and Dan) after my fathers retirement party.

We headed north out of Randolph, VT on Vermont Route 12A.  After a few miles on the right is Braintree Mountain Road.  This road takes you over the ridge to Roxbury, the first mile is passable by cars and 2WD trucks.  After that if you are careful you should still be able to get a truck through without much trouble, though I would suggest that you have a 4WD truck.  The Rochester side of the mountain is considerably steeper and looks as though some logging activity has taken place there recently so the road is kind of beat-up.
